Top 5 best X (Twitter) accounts about investing
We have listed 5 of our favorite and best X-accounts about investing.
There is an overwhelming amount of unnecessary, poor, incomplete, or even misleading information available on the internet.
To help you navigate through this, we've curated a list of 5 highly educational and interesting X accounts worth following.
Why? By following the right accounts, you can avoid consuming bad information, which could potentially harm your long-term returns.
What criteria should these accounts meet?
The accounts must still be active.
Need to offer a large portion of content for free, and in English.
Quality is more important than quantity.
The account holders possess expertise in investing, particularly in individual stocks.
They are trustworthy, transparent, and approach investing with seriousness, not as a ‘game.’
1. Capitalist Letters
This is one of our personal favorites. Oguz, the writer behind Capitalist Letters, is an experienced investor who often takes a contrarian approach. We can only appreciate that, as it aligns with our philosophy. He writes in-depth threads on various stocks, such as Palantir, Airbnb, and Alphabet., but also many others.
When should you follow him? If you're interested in investing in individual stocks, particularly those with wide moats, this is an excellent account to follow. You can also find him on Substack @
.2. Heavy Moat Investments
is a self-taught investor focused on quality companies and a writer on Substack. He produces high-quality articles and threads about investing in individual stocks. He also reposts important and informative articles from accounts we weren't previously aware of. (This is incredibly useful because it helps you discover excellent, lesser-known accounts!) He frequently discusses companies like Adyen, Amazon, Lifco, Ashtead, and ASML, to name just a few. I highly recommend following him on both Substack and X.
When should you follow him? If you're interested in investing in individual stocks, enjoy in-depth articles about intriguing companies, or simply want to learn more about specific businesses.
3. Brian Feroldi
Normally, I’m not a fan of large accounts. Most big accounts have become increasingly commercial, filled with ads and clickbait. Brian, with over 573K followers on X, isn’t a small player, but he’s an exception to the rule.
He’s one of the best in the game. He’s knowledgeable, makes investing fun, and most importantly, he makes it very easy to learn and understand the financial markets. He offers an incredible amount of free articles, infographics, and valuable information.
When should you follow him? Brian is a must-follow if you want to become a better investor and improve your ability to understand and apply the financial aspects of investing.
4. Stock Analysis Compilation
This account is a bit different from the others. He’s taken a unique approach. What he does is compile some of the best (short) analyses from others and shares them on his Substack or on his X account. The shorter pieces are on X, while the longer ones are on Substack
.It’s super handy if you’re looking for a quote, an analysis, or if you’re just interested in what he’s discovered.
When should you follow him? If you’re always on the lookout for new insights, ideas, or analyses, this is a great account to follow!
5. Jordy Beuving
Jordy is part of the Dutch investment firm De Aandeel Houder (which literally translates to “The Stock Holder”).
He is highly passionate about investing and has extensive knowledge of the industry, with a particular focus on technology and semiconductor stocks. He’s one of the best analistst to follow, when it comes to the chip and tech industry.
When should you follow him? Jordy has an in-depth understanding of the semiconductor industry, covering companies like ASML, Nvidia, Intel, and BESI. He regularly provides detailed updates on these topics. If you want to learn more or stay informed about the semiconductor industry, Jordy is definitely someone worth following!
